Marica Mackenroth Brewster is an award-winning marketer who helps tourism businesses grow. As founder and CEO of The Von Mack Agency, her nearly two decades of experience is put to work leading tour companies, attractions, CVB's, hospitality entities, and motorcoach companies to success, before and most especially throughout this time of COVID.

Brewster's work has set off headlines in Yahoo Business, Travel Daily News, and New Orleans City Business, and her career includes past posts as CEO USA of Tomahawk Tourism and Director of Communications at Pelican New Orleans. Most tours are average. Above-average tours usually result in travelers going home and tell everyone they know about the amazing food tour they in Taipei with Al. But names are easy to forget, and, googling "Taipei food tour with Al" probably won't bring your tour up in the search results.

In this workshop, we'll address the gap between the brand in your marketing and how the brand shows itself during the actual experience. You'll walk away with a checklist of things to do in order to create Brand Ambassadors out of your guides (who LOVE to talk about your brand on their tour).

Nikki works to empower guides through training and advocacy. She bridges the communication gap between tour operators and their teams to result in consistently branded high-quality experiences that generate word-of-mouth-marketing.

Previously (after a career of guiding in NYC), Nikki created and ran the Guide Program for Intrepid's Urban Adventures, creating a community amongst 1500+ guides in 160+ cities around the world. She believes that travel should benefit a local place and that guides are in the perfect position to educate travelers on how to protect and appreciate their destinations.
